Happy Monday loves! We hope you had a fantastic weekend. After what seems like an eternity of cooped up inside with a sick kid and watching the rain, everything finally disappeared on Thursday so we took the opportunity to chuck on our painting clothes and get some fresh air whilst doing Planet Marble Painting.
The kiddo is OBSESSED with space and planets and my cake pans were temporarily out of commission so we thought we would put them to use and create our own… because everyone needs their own personalised 4 planet solar system right?
Planet Marble Painting is easy as pie and not all that messy which to be honest, suits me just fine at the moment!
What you’ll need
– cake tin/tray/deep bowl
– plastic spoons
What to do
– Cut your paper to fit the what ever you are using.
– Dunk your marbles in paint, pop them on the paper, swirl and jiggle around.
– Repeat as many times as you or the kiddo/s see fit!
On Thursday the 30th June 2016 at 335pm the following planets were discovered- Doc, Chilly, Koko and Halle *insert Doc Mc Stuffins*.
I guess if you’re the first to discover them, why not name them after your current faves. I bet Nasa is kicking themselves for not finding these first!
(And yes, the kiddo is wearing an eye patch. She does so for an hour a day to help strengthen the muscles in her right eye.)
