Hummus is a fave in our house, especailly if it is loaded with garlic and with a tin of chickpeas left over from making Chocolate Mousse, Lemony Garlic Hummus had to be made!
This Lemony Garlic Hummus is super quick to whip up and you don’t need any Tahini on hand! Just whack it all into the food processor and in about 2 minutes, you’ve got yourself a bowl full of delcious hummus.
What you’ll need
– 1 can of chickpeas, rinsed and drained (save the juice for Chocolate Mousse)
– 2 good TBSP crushed garlic. I am a garlic lover so you can pop less in if you’re not a fan
– juice of one small lemon
– 1/4 cup olive oil
– good dose of sea salt
– little bit of water
What to do
– Pop the chickepeas, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil into a food processor and blitz.
– If need be, add a little bit of water (2-10 TBSP) and continute to blitz until you have the consistency your hummus loving heart desires.
