Fruit Pizza Crackers are not only super easy and fun to whip up but it’s a great way to get the kiddo/s involved in making snacks.
We struggle to get fruit (food in general!!) into Iz due to the sensory issues and so by making things a bit interesting and getting her involved, she seems a bit more comfortable to try new things. It doesn’t always work out to well but we do have the odd win!
Like pizza, you can have a variety of toppings for your Fruit Pizza Crackers. If you’ve got a picky eater, start off with the fruit that they do like and go from there! Be sure to get them involved to create their Fruit Pizza Cracker masterpieces!
Fruit Pizza Crackers are great for a mid morn or arvo snack or an addition to the lunchbox! They’re also perfect for a wee healthy snack after dinner!
What you’ll need
– Snax crackers or any other small round plain cracker
– fresh fruit of your choice. We used strawberries, grapes and kiwi berries
– spreadable cream cheese
What to do
– Grab your fruit and chop it up into tiny little pizza topping pieces!
– Spread a little cream cheese on your crackers, get the kiddo/s to add their fruit toppings… and that’s it!
